Terms and conditions
The following terms will apply to all preloved fashionable items sold / purchased through Flipo.
Let’s keep in mind that Flipo acts all the time as a middleman for the seller / buyer – happy to support.
Starting with signing up by filling all the needed information, you’ve got multiple options, to be a seller, a buyer or even both!
Now, If you wish to sell your preloved items, upload the items that you would like to sell with filling all the information needed about the item, the selling price, upload images for the items and, wait for our approval, and now it’s ready to be sold.
Next, when someone orders your item, it’s time to deliver, please make sure your item is precisely as described, fully clean and smells good, pack it properly and creatively (your packaging way will enhance your chance to sell better and get more known as a seller), and get it prepared for the pick up, you’ll be contacted by the delivery company to confirm your location and the best time to pick up the item.
Accordingly, if you wish to buy a preloved item, you place an order on the platform by adding items to the basket. Then if you are happy with your choice, please read and check your order carefully before submitting it. However, if you need to correct any errors you can do so before submitting it to us. Then you can proceed to the next step, and finally the order will be happily delivered to you.
And a must to know that payments are Cash on Delivery (COD) only.
Last but not least, our confirmation of acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between you and the Seller.
Continually, about prices and payments:
Surely, the prices payable for items that you order are as set out on the site. (The cost of shipping is always covered by buyers. It is added to the item’s price as a part of the total buyer’s purchase)
If you’re a seller, Flipo’s commission will be as below:
15% of the selling price with minimum charge of 2 JODs.
And once the delivery company delivers the item for the buyer, the item will be delivered to the buyer and the money will be collected from the buyer once delivered (COD), the money will be deposited in your flipo’s wallet (they’ll be held on your wallet – red highlighted – for 24 hours), after 24 hours, if it’s confirmed that there’s no any returns and it’s all good with the order,the money will be released – green highlighted – and ready to be transferred to your account (bearing in mind a minimum amount should be 15 JODs to complete the transfer)
If you are a seller who wants to promote their items on Flipo (your item will appear at the top of other items), you can promote your item for 1, 3, or 7 days as below prices:
- One day – 1 JOD
- Three days – 2 JODs
- Seven days – 5 JOD
If you’re a seller who wants to promote their profile on Flipo (you have a lot of items you would like to sell – your profile will appear at the top of the home page), you can promote your profile for 3, 15, or 30 days as below prices:
- Three day – 3 JODs
- Fifteen days – 10 JODs
- Thirty days – 15 JODs
ٍNow about the delivery of your preloved items:
Information as to delivery options and charges is provided on the platform.
The goods ordered by you will be delivered to you to the address you give us for the delivery at the time you make your order, it will be delivered to you within 1-5 business days after your order is accepted by the seller.
And for sure, you will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you, prior to which ownership of the goods remains to the Seller. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
Return policy: If you wish to return the items for the case of in which the items are not as described on the website as such or they may not be in a perfect condition (though we and the seller will endeavour to accurately describe the condition of all items on the site) because as mentioned before the items are pre-owned/lover (second-hand garments) and because the seller is a private individual not selling in the course of a business, in this case please submit a return request through Flipo within 24 hours of receiving the order, with full description of the return reason and with uploading an image -if possible- and you’ll get it returned and your money will be refunded with no additional delivery fee applied.
Any other reason, eg. you didn’t like the item, the size didn’t fit, or any other reason than mentioned above.. Same scenarios but you’ll be charged the delivery fee.
Liability: If the items we deliver are not what you ordered or are not as described on the website or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by contacting us within 24 hours of the delivery of the goods in question.
Also, if you do not receive the items ordered within (5) days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us about the problem by contacting us within 6 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.
In case you notified a problem to us under the mentioned clauses above, our only obligation will be, at your option:
to make good any shortage or non-delivery (subject to availability);
to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
A must know, save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under clause mentioned above.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you.
Conclusion, the Seller shall have no liability to you beyond our liability as stated in these Terms and Conditions As we are living on earth, we might face events beyond our control
Accordingly, we shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
Invalidity
if any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Entire agreement: these terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, and contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representative about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
